U.M.W. Shrimp Boil

The United Methodist Woman host an Annual Shrimp Boil.   All the proceeds go to Mission Work in the community and around the world.

The United Methodist Women’s group was formed as a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of church. The UMW offers ALL women opportunities for growth through programs, study and service. Our UMW members also participate in District and Conference events and an annual reading program. In addition to other mission support activities, the UMW has an annual fundraising dinner and a Christmas party the proceeds of which support mission endeavors.

The UMW group of women meets at 7:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month in the Fellowship Hall of the church with light refreshments and usually a speaker. All women are invited to attend.
