Breakfast & Bible Ministry

“Giving food for the body opens the door to sharing food for the soul.”

Mondays @ 8:30 AM

We gather on the Front lawn of the Church.

Breakfast is served “Tailgate Style” to folks in the community, who are waiting for the “Bread Partners of Washington County” van to arrive. On an average Monday we have about twenty cars gather. We take breakfast to each family, visit and pray with them, as well as, offer Bibles and Upper Room devotional booklets. And since the cooler weather has arrived, the congregation has been collecting blankets for those who need them.

Participant comment: “This is like our own little worship service on Monday mornings! Thank you so much!

The Women are Gathering!

Second Wednesdays @ 6 PM

The United Methodist Women’s group was formed as a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of church.

The UMW offers ALL women opportunities for growth through programs, study and service. Our UMW members also participate in District and Conference events and an annual reading program.

In addition to other mission support activities, the UMW has an annual fundraising dinner and a Christmas party the proceeds of which support mission endeavors. The UMW group of women meets at 7:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month in the Fellowship Hall of the church with light refreshments and usually a speaker.
All women are invited to attend.
